ABOUT International Fermentation and Brewing Food Industry EXPO

International Fermentation and Brewing Food Industry EXPO is the first specialized exhibition focusing on manufacturing equipment, materials and technologies related to fermentation and brewing foods. The fermenting action of foodstuffs creates various merits such as improvement of taste and preservation, production of foods such as alcohol, miso and soy sauce, and increased effect on health.
In recent years, research on fermentation and brewing foods have progressed, and not only the quality and taste of foods have been improved, but also a lot of evidence of their great health effects has been published. Year after year, attention is being paid to the health benefits of fermentation and brewing foods.
In particular, it is expected that fermentation foods will be effective in improving immunity by improving the intestinal environment, dieting effect, anti-aging effect, etc., while the improvement of innate immunity is required due to COVID-19 damage.
As for brewing foods, attention is being paid to revitalization of local areas and effective utilization of local resources by fusing traditional local manufacturing methods with the latest technology to create wonderful and original foods. In addition, research on koji, yeast, lactic acid bacteria, etc.
that create fermentation and brewing foods are progressing all over the world, and it is expected that new products and technologies will continue to emerge in the future.
In this exhibition, in order to develop this remarkable fermentation and brewing foods industry and further enrich people's food culture, all ingredients, materials, research equipment, manufacturing equipment, inspection equipment, and packages related to fermentation and brewing will be exhibited. We will collect products and hold a grand exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight.

MANDATORY FACE MASK COVERING MOUTH AND NOSE

Wearing face masks covering mouth and nose is mandatory throughout the entire fairgrounds. Only seating at stands and in food service establishments is excluded. Please use your own face masks. Should you have accidentally forgot ten yours we will be pleased to provide you with one.

LIMITED NUMBER OF VISITORS

We can precisely control the number of visitors by means of online registration and online tickets. In addition to that we ask to ensure social distance with others.

SANITISING

You will find hand sanitiser dispensers especially in highly frequented areas: Please make frequent use of them. Objects and surfaces that are touched particularly often (e.g.counters, tables, hand rails etc.) are cleaned and disinfected by our staff at shorter intervals.

HYGIENE

Please make sanitiser available at your stand as an exhibitor and clean used surfaces at regular intervals, especially after every conversation and/or business appointment.

TEMPERATURE ME ASUREMENT

We will use thermography camera to help us monitor people's tempeture. If the person who have over 37.5℃, we refuse to enter to the exhibition hall.
